The Drama Club at Southwestern continues to rehearse and hone the dramatic skills that will go into the production of Lady and the Girl. This week, some drama club officers made an outreach trip to Killeen, Texas, cultivating connections with Christian groups in the area in the hopes of future collaboration on Lady and the Girl. Also, the actors did development exercises.
Along the way, fundraising captain Kaytlynn Johnson also interviewed Virginia Ward and Tenecia Gaines, the leading actresses of Lady and the Girl, playing Mary Todd Lincoln and Elizabeth Keckley.
